Author Kim Robinson is excited to announce that she recently received the First Place Award as winner of this year’s Roaring Lambs Writers Contest. The award was given out at the 12th Annual Roaring Lambs Christian Writers Conference, where Kim’s book Chased by Grace was one of the door prizes. “It is humbling and gratifying to be the recipient of this award. Roaring Lambs is a respected organization and it is an honor to have my writing recognized by them,” she commented.

"In addition to the award and cash prize, Kim’s winning entry will be published next spring in the 2017 edition of Stories of Roaring Faith. Details of the availability of that publication will be announced at a later date.”

Kim is pleased to announce that she has joined the Texas Association of Authors. Based in Austin, The Texas Association of Authors is a nonprofit organization that utilizes technology, social media, and industry knowledge to promote the work of great local authors.

Kim’s Texas Book Festival signing at the Writers League of Texas booth was a lot of fun! She met some great authors and got a chance to catch up with old friends. Several fans came out to buy the book and meet the author, and the experience was wonderful.

Just to see her name on a printed sign – well for a little ole’ gal, it was awesome!!

Kim Robinson has been announced as a participating author for this year’s Texas Book Festival on October 17, 2015!

Kim will be appearing at the Writer’s League of Texas Exhibitor booth book signing on Saturday, October 17th, at 2 pm, in support of her debut novel, Chased by Grace.

The Texas Book Festival celebrates authors and their contributions to the culture of literacy, ideas, and imagination. The signature event has evolved into one of the premier literary events in the country and takes place in and around the State Capitol in Austin, hosting about 250 authors each year.

More than 40,000 book lovers of all ages attend the Festival annually. Kim is very excited to join this fantastic event, and hopes to see everybody there!

On June 20th, Kim participated in a book signing at the Hewitt Public Library author event.
